First, we all know that in order to be seen on the internet, we need to have a website of some kind. That’s why web design is so important. Whether you have a blog, a site made from scratch, or a live journal, someone had to design that. Someone had to invent the wheel. I know what you’re thinking, Stephanie what does that have to do with the title of this post? Well, there are a lot of things. For one, in order for me or you to keep up to date in our skills in design we need references.
What are those references?
Tutorials or books that can help refresh our memories. A well written tutorial can help remind you of what is missing on your site. Perhaps you forgot a tag or you forgot how to use CSS entirely. You could be just plain rusty. What about books? I know for me I sometimes cannot understand how to follow the examples. I find that online especially some tutorial blogs, that they are little more detailed and the examples are easier to follow. Their suggestions are not just rote notations but expressive.
I know what you are saying” Stephanie don’t be silly, all of the information is the same. Okay look, that’s just how my brain works. You see I can have the site on one screen and follow the examples on another. I am not saying that books can’t aide us in our designs. I am simply implying that a web design tutorial is an excellent alternative to buying books. Sometimes buying the books can become costly at the time when all you need a tag or a line to remember.
So, what is the point of this post? I found some very useful sites. These sites are truly full of the appropriate information. I have broken them down according to Program Language. These websites have beginner to advanced examples. Why did I want to share? Well I think that everyone can benefit from these sites especially if you are on a tiny budget. So enjoy the tutorials.
